ALL NE Team had amazing performances at Regionals!
On December 14, 2008, five NE teams traveled to the Deltaplex to compete in the Young Champions Western Regional Championship. All 5 teams gave amazing performances, placing among the top of their divisions.
The morning started with our Twinkles giving an "out of this world" performance. They were awarded second place and earned a spot in the state championship.
Next up, Starlights took the floor. Just like their cheer said, "when you're a STARLIGHT you're born to IMPRESS!" And impress they did, hitting a fantastic routine and taking home the blue ribbons. They will also be competing at the state championship in January.
Shining Stars, our DIVAS were next up. They did a fantastic routine, earning third place. They will also be competing at state.
Shooting Stars were the next team to take the floor. After a rough couple seasons, they sure had their "fire" back! They did a fantastic routine bringing Jami to tears, and took home second place. They are looking to perform even better at state.
RED wrapped up the day for Niles Elite. While new rules don't actually have them compete at regionals, they did qualify for the state championship, with the highest score in the regional. Great Job, RED ladies!
State is going to be a VERY busy day. With Silver and Black joining us at Wing's stadium, we're making history...the first team to take SEVEN teams to state.
We are so proud to be...NE!
