After fabulous performances at the regional competition, four Niles Elite teams headed to Grand Rapids to compete at the State Championship.

All four teams gave incredible performances, and our fans did an incredible job supporting our teams!

Niles Elite's smallest cheerleader, our Twinkles, were first on the floor. They performed and amazing routine, loaded with difficulty, showing everyone in the arena that Niles Elite is going to be a force to be reckoned with for some time to come! They were named the State-runner-up for their near perfect performance.

Starlights performed next, and despite having to make some changes during practice, they did their best routine to date. Everyone was talking after this one about what a cute routine they did. We are so proud of their awesome performance.

Red took the floor next, with everyone crossing their fingers after a perfect warm up. They performed their hearts out and showed everyone how much they can improve in only 2 practices...they looked like a completely different team than competed at regionals! They came home with 3rd place, and also the honor of being the highest placing level 5 team that also competes a level 6.

Black, always the comedians, put on a performance that will be talked about for YEARS to come. Not only was it technically perfect (no bobbles and NO touchdowns!) it was entertaining to the max! Everyone now wants to be white and nerdy, just like our Black team ladies and gentlemen!

Next stop? MADISON! Both Red and Black earned bids to the National Championship in Madison, WI. With over 30 teams competing for only 5 bids, these  are quite and honor to receive. The two teams are thrilled to earn bids and excited to represent Michigan as the best of the best!
